When your family uses energy wisely at home, your energy savings create a positive impact on the environment. Your family can also save money on their utility bill by practicing your new energy-efficient habits and installing the items from the Austin Energy All-Stars Kit.
Your family should help you install the items in your Austin Energy All-Stars Kit and complete the homework you receive. They can also remind you to return your completed Student Workbook to school.
Only one kit is available to each student, so be sure to take good care of them! We apologize for any inconvenience.
LED Light Bulbs do not contain hazardous materials, and therefore can safely be disposed of the same way you would dispose of a broken glass. However, 95% of a LED Light Bulb is recyclable, so recycling your LED Light Bulbs is the best way to dispose of them. Simply call your local Waste Management Company to learn the recycling policy in your area, or visit your local home improvement store – most will do the recycling for you.!
